The definition of graphics for me is the fast and lasting delivery of a message. Messages from companies, organizations, events, or anything else in a way that the message is quickly received by the audience and stays in their minds. Graphics helped me understand the concept and message, and in an effort to stay in the mind, I connected with the audience and got to know them. At first, I thought of graphics as designing posters, logos, and delivering commercial messages. But I chose to study the illustration of books published by the Center for the Intellectual Development of Children and Adolescents in the 1960s for my master's thesis, and a new window opened for me. While recognizing the capabilities of this art in depicting written messages, I was able to get to know the minds of my young audience and, by knowing them, I got to know myself better.
